While preventing and treating HIV infection in women of childbearing age is critical to that mission, equally important is addressing the comprehensive sexual and reproductive health needs of women and families affected by or at risk of acquiring HIV.

EGPAF will support 500 health facilities in Africa to provide at least 500,000 people with family planning methods from October 2019 to September 2023. EGPAF will deliver on this goal through integrated service delivery for dual prevention of HIV and pregnancy, working in primary, secondary, and tertiary level facilities and in the communities connected to them.
